Leaves floating down the river

This series of photographs was taken over the years—images that drifted into view like leaves on a river’s surface. That’s how I’ve come to see them. But sometimes I wonder: was I standing still on the riverbank, watching moments float past? Or was I the one drifting downstream, glimpsing the world from the current? I’m still not entirely sure.

I’m not drawn to grand gestures or monuments, but to the quiet imprints of everyday life—the marks we leave on the world that seem permanent, but gradually fade into oblivion. These are the moments that catch my eye: fragments of time and place, gathered across several years. The photographs were made using both digital and analogue cameras.
